Ulster Camogie Awards Day celebrates excellence across the 2025 season
Ulster Camogie marked the end of the 2025 season with its annual Awards Day on Sunday, 15th February, bringing together players, coaches, volunteers and supporters from across the province to celebrate a year of achievement and growth in the sport.
The event recognised outstanding performances at club and county level, highlighting the dedication, skill and commitment that defined the 2025 camogie season. Awards were presented across multiple categories, acknowledging individual excellence, team success, and the invaluable contributions of volunteers who continue to drive the game forward in communities throughout Ulster.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ulster Camogie representatives praised the high standards displayed throughout the year and the continued rise in participation and competitiveness across all grades. The organisation noted that the 2025 season showcased the strength of Camogie in Ulster, with memorable championship campaigns, emerging young talent, and strong leadership both on and off the field.
A key focus of the day was the recognition of grassroots development, with special mention given to coaches, referees, and club officers whose work underpins the sport’s success. Their commitment ensures pathways for players of all ages and helps sustain camogie’s role at the heart of local communities.
The Awards Day also provided an opportunity for members of the camogie family to reflect on the season’s highlights while looking ahead to continued progress in 2026.
